Chapter three of Thy Kingdom Come focuses on God’s granting His people the Promised Land. The symbol shows a young plant, grounded in the God-given soil of the land of Israel, with roots extending down throughout the history of the covenant. Surrounding the symbol are the fields and hills of the Promised Land, and upon the hill to the right of the image a silhouette of the temple in Jerusalem rises from the surrounding countryside. The image background is dominated by a brilliant sunrise, the sun itself resting over the temple displaying the glory of God residing there. Though neighboring empires eventually conquered the Promised Land, God’s covenant to send the Messiah remained. This banner will be used from April 27th - June 1st, 2008.
